Let’s keep it real today.
A lot of us in this community are bosses but only a handful of us are CEOs.
What’s the difference? Well..
Bosses are confident, hard-workers and excellent managers. They know the nitty-gritty details of their business and have a hand in EVERYTHING! Bosses are innovators, executors and great communicators all in one.
CEOs are sure of themselves, but seek opinions from others to make great decisions. They can manage, but they’d rather lead. CEOs hire the right people to execute their visions. And they always see the big picture.
Bosses are not afraid to put in the work to build something from the ground up. CEOs proudly ride a well oiled-machine into the office everyday.
A boss runs her business.
A CEO runs her empire.
But, you can’t be a CEO without being a Boss first; there are levels to this and steps to take.
You are a boss. By status, title or mindset — you are a boss. You’ve built or are in the process of building a six-figure business goddamnit! That’s no easy feat. You got the sauce with seconds too – you work hard and you’re damn proud of it!
This entrepreneurship work is gratifying – being a boss is so rewarding, am I right? I feel the most energized when I’m working with clients one-on-one, after seeing how my financial consultations help them see the full picture so they can level up and be the best bosses for their own businesses. I love my job but I’m also committed to building my empire. I have visions and goals so large, they terrify me. I’m willing to sacrifice short term fun to achieve CEO status. . No it’s not easy but if it were, I wouldn’t even be doing this work. Everyday fits in my plan toward greatness. That’s what drives me.
Which one are you – a boss or CEO? Hit reply and let me know your position on the matter.
With love,
Chika
